1 Architect

Bernardí Martorell (© Courtesy of the Royal Gaudí Chair)

A nephew of J. Martorell i Montells, he worked with A. Gaudí - by whom he was influenced -, L. Domènech i Montaner and J. Rubió i Bellver.

He produced very little architecture of his own, but mention must be made of Casa Estapé (1907; Passeig de Sant Joan, 6; formerly called Casa Laplana), the Convent of Valldonzella (1910; Císter, 39-45) and the cemetery of Olius, which is directly related to works by A. Gaudí.
