He qualified as an architect at the Barcelona School of Architecture in 1893. He built a great many blocks of flats, especially in the Eixample district of Barcelona, such as Casa Llorenç Camprubí (1901; Casp, 22). He drew up the plans for Torre Andreu, known as La Rotonda (1906; Avinguda del Tibidabo, 2), for which L. Bru and A. Juyol designed the mosaics on the dome.

He was municipal architect of Badalona, where he was responsible for the plans of various public-sector buildings.
