Casa Vicens, located in Carrer de les Carolines in Barcelona´s Gràcia district, ??will open its doors to the public in 2016. The major Andorran banking firm MoraBanc recently purchased the building and plans to turn it into a house-museum after its restoration.
Casa Vicens was the first important commission that Antoni Gaudí i Cornet received in 1883, shortly after completing his architectural studies. The opening of the building, declared a National Heritage Cultural Site, will mark the recovery of another Modernista gem for the city of Barcelona.
